We have to realize that nobody could have predicted these senseless events…Apparently, posturing and pointing fingers is easier for our leaders and pundits than grappling with this sad truth.
There are precious few good shows on NPR, and the worldview espoused on their programs has got to be as alien to most Americans as Nancy Pelosi’s face.

Obama has chosen for his nominee one Elena Kagan, Solicitor General. An academic and a Clinton-era flack with precisely zero judicial experience and only a dash of real world legal experience on her resume, she has been working in government for most of her adult life.
Of course, in Washington that is not a black mark on the résumé.
A year on from the Inauguration, and it's nice to be almost entirely validated.
